The ½ Rial - Qaboos (Youth Year; Crowned) 1413 (1992) coin from Oman is unique in that it features a portrait of Sultan Qaboos bin Said Al Said, the former ruler of Oman, on the obverse side, while the reverse side depicts the Omani coat of arms, which includes a Khanjar (a traditional Omani dagger) and two guns. This design was specifically created to commemorate the Sultan's 25th anniversary on the throne.
