Interesting fact

The 1962-1963 North Yemen ⅒ Rial coin made of Silver (.720) was the first coin to feature the country's national emblem, which includes a golden eagle holding a scroll with the country's name in Arabic. This emblem was designed by the Yemeni artist, Abdullah al-Mutawakkil, and has been used on various coins and banknotes in North Yemen and later in the unified Yemen.
