Interesting fact

The A Token ½ Penny (George IV) 1832 from Upper Canada (Canadian provinces) made of Copper weighing 8.6 g is a rare and valuable coin, with only a few known examples surviving to this day. One interesting fact about this coin is that it was issued during a time of currency shortages in Upper Canada, and was used as a substitute for the official British currency. The coin was minted by a private company, and its design features a portrait of King George IV on one side and a crowned shield on the other. Despite its age, some of these coins have been known to sell for thousands of dollars at auction, making them a highly sought-after collector's item among numismatists.
