The Gond Kingdom of Devgarh, which issued the ½ Paisa coin made of copper, was known for its unique system of governance. The kingdom was ruled by a council of 12 wise men, who were chosen for their wisdom and integrity. This system was known as the "Barhath" system and was unique to the Gond Kingdom.
