“Para el quinto aniversario del panda, se acuñó una serie muy grande de medallas conmemorativas en distintos tamaños en oro, plata y platino. De manera adicional se conocen 10 pruebas, 5 en cobre en medidas de: 1/10, ¼, ½, 1 y 5 onzas, y 5 más en latón con los mismos tamaños antes mencionados, ninguna de las anteriores formaría parte de la serie, únicamente fueron ensayos de la amonedación solicitada.”
