Interesting fact
The Pattern ¼ Mohur - Sayaji Rao III (OMS Pattern) 1942 (1886) from Princely state of Baroda (Indian princely states) made of Silver weighing 1.46 g is an interesting coin because it features a unique blend of Indian and Western design elements. The coin's obverse features a portrait of Sayaji Rao III, the ruler of Baroda, in a traditional Indian style, while the reverse features a depiction of a lion and a palm tree, which is a common motif in Western heraldry. This fusion of styles reflects the cultural exchange and influences that existed between India and Europe during the colonial era.
