Interesting fact
The ¼ Kreuzer coin was minted during the reign of Duke William of Nassau, who was also known as William I, King of the Netherlands. He ruled the Duchy of Nassau from 1817 to 1819, and during his reign, he introduced a new currency system that included the ¼ Kreuzer coin. This coin was made of copper and weighed 1.3 grams, making it a relatively small and lightweight coin. Despite its small size, the ¼ Kreuzer coin played an important role in the economy of the Duchy of Nassau during that time.
