Interesting fact
The ½ Kreuzer coin from the Kingdom of Bohemia, minted during the reign of Charles VI (Kuttenberg) from 1717-1724, was made of silver, but it was also one of the first coins to use a new technology called "milled" or "reeded" edges. This technology involved grooving the edges of the coin with a special tool to create a textured, ribbed effect. This innovation made it more difficult for counterfeiters to produce fake coins, as it was harder to replicate the milled edges. This coin was a pioneer in the use of this technology, which later became a standard feature in coinage across Europe.
