Interesting fact

The ½ Kopeck coin from the Russian Empire, minted between 1867 and 1881, features an image of Alexander II on one side and the Imperial coat of arms on the other. It was made of copper and weighs 1.64 grams. Interestingly, this coin was used during a time of great change in Russia, including the emancipation of serfs in 1861 and the construction of the Trans-Siberian Railway. Despite its small denomination, the coin remains a valuable collector's item for numismatists today.
