Comment
These coins were minted as a New Year's gift and were not actually considered coins, but medals. There are differences in the female figure (head turned to right 1756, forward facing 1759) and privy mark between the two dates. Verkade split the dates into two types, but CNM and Krause do not.
Interesting fact
One interesting fact about the ¼ Gulden "Muntmeesterspenning" coin from the Province of Gelderland (Dutch Republic) is that it was minted with a unique feature - a small hole in the center of the coin. This hole was intentionally added to the design to indicate that the coin was made of pure silver, as opposed to other coins that were minted with a lower silver content. This feature was known as a "Muntmeesterspenning" or "master's penny," and it served as a symbol of the coin's authenticity and value.
