These coins were struck in 22 carat gold to two different weight standards.The 1669 issue was struck at 87 7/15 to the pound troy, giving a standard weight of 45/328 troy ounce (65.9 grains).
The 1670 to 1672 issues were struck at 89 to the pound troy, giving a standard weight of 12/89 troy ounce (64.7 grains).
