English type of Bohemian 1/2 Gross was personal invention of Johan of Luxembourg, who added his own portrait on them. They become very unpopular, and were replaced by Bohemian type with crown instead.

Interesting fact

One interesting fact about this coin is that it was issued during the reign of Johan I von Luxemburg, who was also known as John the Blind. Despite his name, he was a skilled military leader and played a significant role in the politics of the Holy Roman Empire during his time.
