Interesting fact

The ½ Ecu coin was minted during the reign of Louis I, Prince of Monaco, who ruled from 1662 to 1701. The coin features an image of the prince on one side and the Monaco coat of arms on the other. It was made of silver and weighed 13.47 grams, which was a significant amount for a coin of its time. Despite its age, the coin remains a popular collector's item among numismatists today.
