The Kisatchie National Forest quarter, released in 2015 as part of the America the Beautiful Quarters® Program, features a unique design that showcases the natural beauty of Louisiana's Kisatchie National Forest. The coin's reverse (tails) side depicts a majestic bald eagle soaring above the forest's vast, rolling hills, with longleaf pine trees and wildflowers visible in the background.
