The American Memorial Park in the Northern Mariana Islands honors the thousands of American troops and local residents of Saipan, the second-largest island in the Northern Mariana Islands, who sacrificed their lives during the Marianas Campaign of World War II. At the Court of Honor, the American flag is displayed at the center of the Flag Circle and surrounded by the Navy, Marine Corps, Army, and Coast Guard flags, consisting of 26 granite panels inscribed with the names of 5,204 service members who died in battle.In 2019, the United States made 2 million of each of the 5 quarter designs at the West Point Mint, a popular coin searched for amongst coin roll hunters.

The interesting fact about this coin is that it features a unique design that honors American Memorial Park in the Northern Mariana Islands.
