Interesting fact

The Standing Liberty Quarter was designed by sculptor Hermon A. MacNeil and was minted from 1916 to 1930. It was the first coin to feature Lady Liberty in a standing position, and its design was meant to symbolize America's readiness to defend its freedom. The coin's design was also unique in that it did not feature the traditional depiction of Lady Liberty's face, instead showing her in profile, looking out towards the horizon. This design change was intended to give the coin a more modern and dynamic feel.
