Interesting fact

The Draped Bust Quarter, minted in 1796, was the first quarter dollar coin to feature an eagle on its reverse side. This design change was a departure from the previous Flowing Hair Quarter, which had a more simplistic design. The addition of the eagle was a symbol of the young nation's growing confidence and ambition.
