Interesting fact

The ½ Daalder "½ Philipsdaalder" coin was minted during the reign of Philip II of Spain, who was also known as Philip II of Flanders. The coin features a bust of Philip II on the obverse side, and on the reverse side, it has a shield with the coat of arms of the County of Flanders. The coin was made of silver (.833) and weighed 17.1 grams. It was used in the Spanish Netherlands, which is now modern-day Belgium.
