The year 2014 marks the centenary of World War One. Regarded as the war to end all wars, over a million British people gave their lives in service to their country. In honor of their bravery and sacrifice, a new commemorative coin has been issued.Featuring servicemen from the army, navy and air force with the poignant words of Rudyard Kipling: “Their name liveth for evermore”, the coin motif by renowned British coin designer Mathew Bonaccorsi has been officially approved by Buckingham Palace.
Struck to a collector quality Brilliant Uncirculated finish and with an edition limit of just 50,000.
