Interesting fact

One interesting fact about the ½ Carlin coin from the Principality of Orange is that it was minted during the reign of Raymond V, who was the Count of Orange and a vassal of the Holy Roman Emperor. The coin features an image of the Count on one side and the coat of arms of the Principality on the other. Despite its small size, the coin was an important part of the local economy and was used for everyday transactions.
