Countermark (Crude heart-shaped hole) on Spanish or Colonial 1/2 Real.Interesting fact
The ½ Bit ND (1761-1764) coin from Martinique was one of the first coins to feature a portrait of King Louis XV of France, who was the king at the time of the coin's minting. The coin's design was unique to Martinique and featured the king's profile on one side and the coat of arms of France on the other. This coin was also one of the first to be made of silver, which was a significant departure from the previous coins that were made of copper or other base metals.
