One interesting fact about the Pattern ⅛ Birr - Zauditu (Pattern) 1917 (1925) from Ethiopian Empire (Ethiopia) made of Gold weighing 4.85 g is that it was designed by the Italian engraver and artist, G. B. Magnani, and features a portrait of Empress Zauditu, who was the first female ruler of Ethiopia, on the obverse side.
