Interesting fact
One interesting fact about the Pattern ¼ Birr - Haile Selassie I (Pattern) 1923 (1931) from Ethiopian Empire (Ethiopia) made of Silver is that it was designed by the renowned Italian engraver and sculptor, Giuseppe Romagnoli. Romagnoli was commissioned by Haile Selassie I himself to create the design for the coin, which features the emperor's profile on one side and the Ethiopian coat of arms on the other. The coin was minted in 1931, but it was not widely circulated and is now considered a rare and valuable collector's item.
