Interesting fact

The ½ Batzen coin from the Electors of the Palatinate, minted in 1572-1573, features an error in the inscription on the reverse side. The Latin inscription "FREDERICUS III DEI GRATIA" (Frederick III, by the grace of God) was mistakenly engraved as "FREDERICUS III DEI GRAFIA" (Frederick III, by the grace of the count). This error makes the coin particularly rare and valuable among collectors.
