Magistrate: Silanus (legatus Augusti pro praetore)

Michael Molnar, an astronomer, believes this coin depicts Jupiter's occultation of Aries in 6 B.C., the most probable "Star of Bethlehem."

Interesting fact

One interesting fact about this coin is that it features an image of Augustus, the Roman emperor, on one side, and a depiction of the goddess Tyche on the other. Tyche was the patron deity of Antioch, and her image on the coin symbolized the city's prosperity and good fortune.
