CNI placed this coin earlier, in the late 13th century, but more recent scholarship (Crippa; MEC) places it during the joint lordship of Luchino and Gian Visconti in the 1340s.
The ambrosino was valued at 32 soldi during the previous reign (Azzone), so this rate has been used here as well.
